This vacant, bright, two-room roof apartment has a south facing terrace and is located on a quiet side street in the heart of the Bergmannkiez.
The apartment has the perfect orientation – The living room and open-kitchen face to the south, as does the terrace. The bedroom faces towards the north.
From both sides of the apartment there are amazing views of the sky over the rooftops. See photos.
Skylight windows in the bathroom, kitchen and hallway enhance the brightness of the apartment even further.
The bathroom has a bathtub and has space and plumbing for a washing machine.
The apartment has just been freshly painted throughout.
There is a pleasant atmosphere amongst the neighbours/owners in the building, which is a classic Berlin Altbau house from 1900.
LOCATION:
The apartment is located on a quiet side street in the heart of Bergmannkiez. What isn’t there around here? This is an area for all ages, from very young to old.
A picnic in Tempelhofer Feld? An open-air drink in Golgotha beer garden in Viktoria Park? And perhaps an evening drink in legendary bar Turandot on Bergmannstraße or in century old Heidelberger Krug at timeless Chamissoplatz?
Or perhaps hang out inside or outside local focal point Marheineke Markthalle, which is just around the corner from the apartment. Another local highlight is the Saturday and Sunday flea market at the adjacent Marheiniekeplatz.
There are four major, and very different, parks on the doorstep:
– Viktoria Park
– Park am Gleisdreieck / Flaschenhalspark
– Tempelhofer Feld
– Volkspark Hasenheide.
As well as the neighbouring Graefekiez, Kreuzberg 36 and Kreuzkölln are also both very easily accessible. As is Schillerkiez, reached within just a few minutes by bike.
To the west, Akazienkiez in Schöneberg is quickly reached.
The area itself has everything for your daily needs and desires, and is extremely practical and easy.
Needless to say, the location is well served by public transport:
U-Bahn Station Gneisenaustraße is a very short walk away:
– Hop on the U7 that cuts right through the heart of the city and to BER Airport via Neukölln.
– The U6 then takes you up through Mitte and Wedding.
Buses are extremely well connected here and take you in all directions. For example the M19 to Grunewald via Nollendorfplatz and Ku’Damm, the 248 to Alexanderplatz (and in the other direction to Südkreuz and Ikea) and the 140 to Kottbusser Tor and then to Ostbahnhof.
The ring road A100 is easily accessible for those trips away by car.
